**Kudosity is seeking a Head of Technology Operations and Compliance to spearhead the seamless operation of our internal IT systems, fortify cybersecurity measures, and architect robust data frameworks.**

**Department overview**

The recently created Finance department will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and compliance, as well as building the core elements of business intelligence and generating valuable insights to facilitate informed decision-making.

**What you’ll do**

**Internal IT Systems Operations**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of internal IT systems, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
- Provide technical leadership to the team, guide and mentor team members with technical decision-making, and set the technical direction for projects.
- Incident and problem management oversight and governance, to diagnose and analyse technology issues.
- Identify root causes, propose solutions, and prioritise fixes by implementing improvements to enhance overall system efficiency.

**Cyber Security, Infosec and Compliance**:

- Direct information security initiatives, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organisational data.
- Lead compliance efforts with industry regulations and internal policies, conducting and overseeing regular assessments and audits.
- Overseeing the preparation and response for external audits, and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance.

**Business Data and Analytics Architecture**:

- Function as the central point of contact overseeing all aspects of internal data, reporting, and insights.
- Develop and implement internal tools and systems to complement our overall data strategy.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including our Data Engineering team, to comprehend data requirements and facilitate the integration of analytics solutions.
- Empower the business to make well-informed, data-driven decisions by delivering actionable insights derived from thorough data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure that the data solutions align with the business needs.
- Cultivate a data-driven culture by emphasising the significance of data and insights in decision-making processes.

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in technology management, with a focus on IT systems operations, data architecture, and infosec/compliance.
- Strong knowledge of business data and analytics principles, including data modelling and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing information security strategies.

**Skills**
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of information security best practices and compliance standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
