One of the many important services Council provides to the community is parking enforcement. We are seeking a casual Parking and Road Safety Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. The role of the Parking and Road Safety Officer is to enforce the Road Safety Act and Regulations to ensure compliance and fair use of parking spaces, whilst also providing guidance to residents, traders and visitors throughout the municipality.

You will be assigned an area, working on foot or in a vehicle, and will be issuing parking infringement notices so a current Australian driver’s license is required. Record keeping and note taking is very important in this role, as is the ability to provide great customer service. We’ll provide you with comprehensive training, onboarding and continued support.

**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:
We’re looking for someone that has excellent organisational and time management skills, is good at making sound observations, taking notes and keeping records, and has experience dealing with customers. You will be required to work during the week and on weekends as part of a rotating roster. Our team works every day including weekends and our shift times vary from 6.45am to 11.00pm.***
