ICMEC (International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children) are a non-profit that works closely with law enforcement, financial institutions and regulators to detect, report and prosecute the evil people who take advantage of our children.
Since its establishment in Australia, ICMEC has accelerated at pace with the involvement of some of the world's leading figures in the fight against child exploitation. They have created world-leading technology-based products that aid in detecting and prosecuting people who aim to exploit children in heinous crimes.
The team at ICMEC is made up of best-in-class professionals who break the mold of non-profits and deliver outstanding results. Some of Australia's leading figures in law enforcement, banking and financial services, and government bodies are involved in making things happen.
With a passion for creating compelling marketing copy and a knack for understanding diverse audiences, you will play a vital role in supporting the marketing strategy.
Reporting to the Marketing, Media and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for newsletters, digital media, and our company website.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing engaging and informative content (written, visual & social media) targeted to specific audiences, considering tone, style, and brand voice.
- Assist with content planning and calendar development.
- Maintain the company website using a CMS like WordPress (experience preferred).
- Create and schedule engaging social media content across various platforms.
- Draft, edit, and proofread marketing materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy across complex topics.
- Analyse content performance and suggest data-driven optimisations.
To be successful in this opportunity, you will need
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, copywriting or a similar content creation role.
- Experience using social media platforms and digital content creation tools (i.e. Canva).
- Proficiency in a CMS platform like WordPress and marketing automation tools like HubSpot.
A background in Journalism or a similar field is highly desirable.
Please note - this is a part-time position (3 days a week).
