**Growth Marketing Leader**
The Growth Marketing Leader for Australia is responsible for driving Aon United alignment, best practice sharing and strategic guidance across the sub-region and delivers actionable marketing plans based on sub-regional growth priorities and strategies developed by the buyer leaders.
The Growth Marketing Leader will also look to support the sub-regional growth priorities that sit outside of the Regions overall priorities. The leader will be responsible for bringing in the right specialist capability to support key projects so relationship and influencing skills are paramount.
This role also requires a strong executional skill set to help support sub-regional priorities, the role is 50% strategy and 50% execution. The role does not have any direct reports.

**What the day will look like**
- Close alignment with Regional Growth Marketing Leaders to ensure local needs are considered by Regional Campaign, Event, Communication & Insights Marketing team
- Works closely with Australia CEO to build and deliver a robust marketing plan that aligns to local growth priorities, aligned to Aon United regional growth strategy
- Critical to the roles success is a strong relationship with sub-regional business segment leads to ensure we are activating on priority activity.
- Creates and runs locally relevant, holistic, evergreen Aon United demand-focused programs by buyer type, that move clients through the funnel to become an MQL
- Tailor persona, buyer journey, message maps, regulatory schemes and priority solutions, focusing on local demand phase of funnel
- Manages key agency relationships focusing on local activation
- Adapts and develops locally relevant key objectives for demand-focused programs and guides and supports country Growth Marketing Manager to deliver activities that support local growth priorities
- Reports on local demand-focused programs
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
This position will suit a someone with the following experience:
- B2B Marketing background with experience in content and digital marketing, plus an understanding of event marketing as part of wider campaign techniques
- Working in an environment where a strong relationship with sales has been critical
- Working in an environment where regular catch ups with multiple stakeholders has been key. In this role there are 6 key stakeholders.
- Is comfortable in working without direct reports but good at organising teams from other specialist functions in marketing to support on key projects.
- Brings high energy to the region and a drive to get things done
- Strong history of delivering growth and investment in marketing through showing tangible results to deliver scalable business cases.
- Inclusive listener who takes on the views of other specialists in the wider team and is not afraid to make compromises to get the right outcome.
