**About the role**

**About you**

You’ll bring a confident, collaborative and solution focused approach. A sense of humour will add to your resilience and ability to lead your team and help them grow. With a wealth of up-to-date IR/ER knowledge to share you’ll support a cohesive service experience to the organisation. Along with sharing the MercyCare values you’ll have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employment Law or a relevant discipline
- Extensive experience in an IR/ER specialist role advising on key issues and practices, as well as managing complex employee relations matters
- Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of employment legislation, industrial awards/agreements and Enterprise Bargaining
- In depth knowledge of employment contract management, workplace investigations, performance management coupled with excellent research, analytical and reasoning skills
- Experience in team leadership is ideal but not required if you have the skills to step up
- Extensive coaching and business partnering experience
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to self-motivate to achieve timely outcomes
- Experience within a large complex organisation ideally in the non-for-profit sector is preferred
- Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
