We are currently looking for **ER Specialist**

**Location**: Perth City
**Roster**: Mon - Friday
**Rate**: $70-$75/hour
**Assignment length**: 12 months
**Expected Start date**: 13 May 2024

**Responsibilities**:
The Specialist Employee Relations will be responsible for:

- Providing technical expertise to line leaders in managing complex performance and conduct and other ER matters, including workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, performance management and managing ill and injured employees
- Proactively supporting and developing line leader capability, including by facilitating ER training
- Contributing to the execution of ER Strategy to deliver optimal business outcomes
- Providing advice and interpretation on employment instruments and legislation
- Representing the Company in litigation proceedings, including in the Fair Work Commission
- Advising the business on issue resolution
- Supporting risk assessment activities

**Requirements of the Job**:

- Tertiary qualification in HR/Legal/Business (or related)
- 3+ years’ experience as ER Specialist or similar role
- Microsoft programs (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP desirable but not essential
- An ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated experience in Employee / Labour Relations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement / relationship management skills
- Strong influencing skills with senior leaders
- Strong continuous improvements skills
- Experience working with third parties
- Experience representing clients in the Fair Work Commission
- A tertiary degree in Human Resources/Employee Relations, or equivalent relevant experience
- Mining or heavy industry experience
