**position purpose**

The Intake & Funding Officer will be responsible for initial referrals to the organisation and coordination of funding and client intakes. The Intake & Funding Officer will network and liaise with key stakeholders, Support Coordinators, and other relevant stakeholders.

The Funding & Intake Officer will undertake activities to grow enquiries, including expos, networking events, presentations to referrer groups and meetings with potential new referrers.

The Funding & Intake Coordinator will actively coordinate client intake, transition journey and funding.

**Key Accountabilities of the Role**
- Strong communication skills for responding to enquiries and referrals and coordinating all intake-related tasks.
- Liaison with Management regarding appropriate referrals and enquiries.
- Coordinating new referrals to enable expedited service and responses.
- Entering client information into the client management system
- Completing a funding check to ensure appropriate funding is available.
- Completing a service agreement document with appropriate hours required for services.
- Assisting preparation of background information and updating the system with all communication.
- Collating referral information to assist with clinical workflow/information data.
- Promoting Kind & Care Supports services within communities, referring agencies and relevant providers.
- Escalate any issues or concerns to the Operations Manager/ Directors, including risks to reputation, service limitations and complaints.
- Administrative duties such as photocopying, stocking office supplies etc., and assisting Management as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and process NDIS-related documentation, such as service agreements and progress reports from participant plans
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and workshops related to disability services.
- Coordinate inquiries and correspondence, both internal and external, related to NDIS/DFFH/TAC services.
- Coordinate participant funding, including all aspects of their NDIS, TAC & DFFH funding.
- Develop a collaborative working relationship with the customer groups and their support networks.
- Providing support and education to participants using demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS, DFFH & TAC funding streams.
- Monitor and track expenditures against approved NDIS/DFFH/TAC budgets and funding allocations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $32.00 - $36.00 per day
