Building Maintenance Officer - Attractive salary up to $41 per hour + Super - Initial 3 months - Local Council
**Your new company**
Join a local council based in the West and coordinate the smooth and effective running of an established multi-faceted building built to serve the community. Work collaboratively with senior staff members and coordinate essential works and maintenance and general facilities management. This position requires an immediate start with opportunities for extension and permanency.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of quality building maintenance services in accordance with work plans and specified standards. You will be responsible for working with the Senior Building Maintenance Officer to allocate and complete customer requests, prepare contract documentation, and respond to internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will require:

- Relevant experience in building maintenance and management
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
