Our client, a prominent organization dedicated to enhancing community infrastructure, is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Officer to join their team. We are looking for a Building Maintenance Officer to contribute to our client's commitment to maintaining and improving community facilities. This 5-month contract role offers an immediate start, working within a supportive and experienced team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with compliance management and reporting on the facilities maintenance contract to achieve Council’s objectives.
- Contribute to the delivery of Council’s buildings reactive and routine maintenance, ensuring compliance with Council’s Buildings and Facilities Maintenance Policy.
- Assist with minor asset renewal, including shade sails, asbestos management, and other renewal items.
- Monitor and document contractor performance, focusing on Occupational Health and Safety and risk management requirements.
- Undertake data collection and review in line with the Council Asset Management Policy.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, ensuring regulatory and legislative requirements, Australian standards, and Council’s Environmentally Sustainable Building requirements are met.
