**What’s the role?**

At **headspace Upper Coomera **, we are looking for allied health professionals to provide mental health sessions under the Better Access MBS pathway, for young people (12 - 25) using a Mental Health Care Plan. You will be working on a self-employed basis on a contract with **headspace Upper Coomera **. We are a bulk billing practice.

headspace Upper Coomera is an NGO working to the headspace model which strives to provide timely access to appropriate mental health care to young people. A key part of this model is to provide free sessions for those eligible for a mental health care plan. Our contracted allied health practitioners are highly valued members of the team as they provide a vital care pathway for those that need medium term care. headspace Upper Coomera is consistently one of the business centres in the headspace network with demand for all services being consistently high.

- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health social work, occupational therapy and current AHPRA or AASW membership
- Have a Medicare provider number and be able to bill under the MBS
- A passion for working with 12-25-year-olds
- Knowledge and skills in being able to work with a range of presentations within the mild to moderate spectrum including but not limited to stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm alcohol and drug use and family discord
- Confidence in working autonomously with support from a clinical team
- Have an ABN and professional indemnity insurance
