Australia Post is delivering for Australia. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers, and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

**About the opportunity**

The Communications Advisor, Content and Channels (6-Month) is part of the team that carries responsibility for protecting and enhancing Australia Post’s (AP’s) reputation and its social license to operate, which is achieved through the delivery of Australia Post’s communications strategy.

You will work to implement and bring to life AP's positions and decisions, helping to develop and deliver communications plans and creating high-quality, engaging, and innovative digital content across a range of platforms and channels. You will be proactive in identifying story opportunities, in line with strategic objectives and content pillars, helping to drive reach, engagement, and impact.

You will also see yourself building effective relationships at all levels of the business and developing a deep understanding of business needs and stakeholder audiences.

**What you’ll deliver with us**
- Help develop and deliver on the Communications Strategy and think about strategic initiatives and campaigns that will improve communication for our team members
- Contribute to the development of AP's internal content strategy including the production of high-quality written and audio-visual content, leveraging new and existing channels to support strategic objectives
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a content calendar and effectively manage the end-to-end development of content including planning, production, and distribution, to ensure timely and consistent delivery of strategic and engaging content across channels
- Support enterprise projects and initiatives through effective delivery of communication plans and campaigns and evaluate activity to optimise future plans and enable data-driven decision-making performance to make data-driven decisions, optimizing content for maximum engagement
- Supporting adoption of Microsoft tools such as Viva Engage, Microsoft Teams, Copilot, and other initiatives by developing, advising, and delivering communications to enhance leader, team member, and stakeholder engagement

**About you**

You are a communications and content specialist, action-oriented, creative, excellent at writing in short and snappy ways, and enjoy campaign style communication. You are organised, efficient, adaptable, and have a solution-focused attitude. You’re inquisitive, proactive, eager to get stuff done, and enjoy building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.

**What are we looking for?**
- 4+ years’ experience as a communications, marketing, or content professional in a large, complex, and highly regulated organisation, working with a geographically spread workforce is preferred but not essential

- We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment, and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together.
- Immerse yourself in the AP Way - where every single team member partakes in a learning module to help understand the vital role, we play in delivering on our strategy and purpose.
