We are a Tier 3 community housing body and the largest Specialist Homelessness Service in Regional NSW. We operate 9 crisis shelters, a Community Centre and more than 50 outreach properties, housing over 150 people across the Central Coast every night.

**The Role**

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Housing & Assets Administrator who will be responsible for providing housing, tenancy and property management services for all properties under the control of Coast Shelter. The position manages the organisation’s strategic property assets, fleet and ancillary assets, meeting contractual and environmental obligations.

The key responsibilities of the position are
- **Housing** - Deliver end-to-end tenancy and property management services
- **Property Maintenance - **Manage all maintenance and repair issues
- **Asset Management**- Manage Coast Shelters extensive asset portfolio including fleet
- **Contractor Management - **Manage all maintenance and property services contracts ensuring high performance and value for money is achieved.

**All about You**

You will have the skills to assist the Housing and Assets coordinator across all aspects of property maintenance. You thrive in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same and love a challenge. Property maintenance experience isn’t essential but you must be a fast learner who has an eye for detail and be proficient in the use of systems.

To be considered for the position you must be able to address the essential criteria below:

- Desirable - experience in the management of assets and property.
- Desirable - experience in the sourcing and negotiation of contracts as well as contract management.
- Desirable - understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
- High level organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, work effectively within a team to achieve high level results; and meet deadlines within tight time constraints, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, consultation, facilitation, cross-cultural communication and client focus skills, and the proven ability to engage, develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
