- Located with Records Team at Silverwater, on the grounds of the Silverwater Correctional Complex
- Salary from $75,992 to $83,211 pa. + super and annual leave loading

**Your role**

Provide effective information and records management services to the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to ensure flow and confidentiality of business information throughout the organisation.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide efficient, secure and timely handling and storage of our department’s hardcopy and electronic information
- Conduct complex searches in DCJ’s recordkeeping systems
- Manage and process business information in accordance with standards and guidelines to ensure all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible as required
- Implement and maintain effective administrative systems and processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency and better support the business unit in delivering services
- Manage and maintain hard and soft copy records in accordance with standards and guidelines, by creating, storing, retrieving and tracking files to ensure accuracy and security of information.
- Provide a consistently high standard of customer service in relation to records management and information privacy
- Provide support and assistance, including training, to other members of the team

This is a physical role within a records/warehouse environment, the role holder is required to safely carry out the following:

- Frequently bend, lift, kneel, crouch and walk - to move about the warehouse, office and compactus to retrieve and maintain records in compactus/shelving (above the head and low to the ground)
- Climb stairs and ladders to retrieve boxes - regularly ascend/descend stairs and ladders within the office and warehouse, to retrieve and maintain records in compactus/shelving (above the head and low to the ground)
- Carry weight, lift and push and pull trolleys - to move records about the warehouse, office and compactus
