Skilled Accounts Payable Specialist required for ongoing contract position in Melbourne CBD. Starting from Monday the 5th of February.

**The Company**

The organisation are a large, friendly and supportive non for profit based in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. They will provide initial in office training for this position. Very easy to access by public transport if you are travelling from out with the CBD. Please note that this position will be based 5 days in the office Monday-Friday.

**The Role**

You will work under a Finance Manager and will support on an ongoing basis while the organisation implement a new financial software package and work through a re-structure within the finance team. Position will commence as early as Monday the 5th of February and will be for a minimum of 3 months in duration. Hours are full time (38 per week) and based in the CBD office.

Some typical duties will involve:

- Receiving and processing high volumes of supplier invoices
- Tidying up vendor files and contact details
- Helping to prepare weekly payment run
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with ad hoc finance and administration tasks

This position is moving quickly and is perfect for anyone seeking contract/temp opportunities in accounts payable with a quick start.

**Your Profile**

You will have a background in accounts payable with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Strong accounts payable experience
- Able to start immediately
- Happy to commit on an ongoing temporary basis
- Prior exposure to ERP systems
- Warm, friendly personality
- Good excel skills
- Comfortable commuting to the CBD
