**Job Description**:
The Reporting Analyst role is a critical role within the Data and Analytics team ensuring that new and existing ways of producing information products are understood and documented so that operational risks are within TAL’s risk appetite.

You will engage with various business analysts within the Data and Analytics team to understand stated / unstated customer needs and requirements specific to Group Life reporting needs.

This position will have a primary focus for the ongoing support of our Group Partners operational reporting needs.

**Some of your responsibilities include**:

- Execute against the Data and Analytics roadmap for your relevant business unit - including optimisation of the existing capability as well the introduction of new capabilities where applicable.
- Data, Information delivery, Analytics and Insights
- Accurate and timely delivery of existing reporting requirements;
- Understand and where required, articulate the business situation and problem statement;
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Operational Excellence & Delivery

**Qualifications**:

- Must have experience in translating business requirements to technical/analytical specifications
- Experience working with and documenting workflow and business processes
- Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, Power BI and Tableau.
- Hands on experience of MS BI stack, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
- Strong documentation skills with exposure to collaboration tools like confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Commerce Business, Statistics, or a related discipline
