**Your Key Contribution**
- Ensure quality of procured and manufactured products through undertaking audits, investigations and inspections within SAYFA, and with externally contracted providers, ensuring compliance with the applicable regulations, processes and controls.
- Manage the defect process including actions, monitoring, implementation and coordination with relevant departments.
- Participate in and support the activities of the Safety and Quality Improvement Coordinator ensuring adherence to ISO9001 requirements
- Maintain, coordinate and implement the QMS, including SOPs, audit schedules, staff training and Intranet (Sharepoint)

**Some of Your Key Activities**
- Manage product quality activities across the organisation, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 requirements, including:undertaking audits, investigations and inspections within SAYFA, and externally contracted providers to ensure compliance with the applicable regulations, processes and controls.
- Develop sampling techniques and procedures to ensure production of finished goods will meet quality specifications and standards.
- Coordinate quality, product inspections and QC checks on manufactured/finished products
- Contribute & assist the new product development process to ensure minimum quality standards and critical specifications are incorporated
- Support quality checking of goods in inwards and outwards goods.
- Act as a mentor to departmental Quality roles, ensuring awareness of SAYFA standards
- Manage the defect process (Pink Slip) including investigating, reporting, monitoring and training across all departments
- Contribute to identification and management of defects including actions, reporting and resolutions with suppliers
- Manage the development and updating of SOPs to support internal quality checking processes, and participate in the management of the QMS
- As required and in collaboration with the Safety and Quality Improvement Coordinator, investigate Adverse Events/Injuries
- Implement staff training activities related to quality, keeping the organisational training matrix and staff records up to date
- Produce Quality reports and participate in Operational meetings

**What is valued?**

- A comprehensive knowledge and experience working with ISO 9001 Quality Standards and Quality Management Systems
- Demonstrated experience conducting investigations and root cause analysis and, participation in internal audit process, non-conformance and action close outs
- Work experience as a specialist in Quality Systems, preferably within the aluminum production and/or manufacturing industry
- Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor Accreditation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Monthly bonus

**Experience**:

- quality management: 2 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
- Lean manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
