Our client is a Melbourne-based world leader in manufacturing oil-free centrifugal chillers, dedicated to reducing carbon emissions in commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres, and other industries worldwide.

Their award-winning green initiatives and sustainable practices have been recognized worldwide, with over 20 years of experience and 10,000+ installations that have significantly cut chiller energy consumption and helped clients meet their green initiatives.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable professional to join our client’s Finance team and help drive innovation and efficiency across their operations. As part of their finance team, you will have the opportunity to work with a global leader and pioneer in green technology and contribute to positively impacting our environment.

**ABOUT YOU...**
- Solid experience in processing accounts payable with an ERP system
- Knowledgeable in processing payments in local and foreign currencies
- Proficient in accounting for accruals and prepayments
- Upholds strict confidentiality of information
- Has a passion for team collaboration and improving work practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Navision is a plus but training will be provided.

**ABOUT THE ROLE...**
- Process invoices payable with three-way matching of purchase order, purchase receipt, and supplier invoice
- Ensure proper invoice approvals and purchase order pricing to maintain audit controls
- Reconcile and follow up on supplier statements in a timely manner
- Manage communication with suppliers regarding payments and accounts queries
- Generate payments in accordance with supplier terms
- Calculate monthly accruals and prepayments
- Contribute to cash flow planning and forecasting activities
- Work with auditors on accounts payable documentation and process queries
- Implement efficient processes for purchasing, receipting, and accounts while maintaining strong audit controls
- Work on the Accounts Payable Automation Project with internal colleagues and IT Support
- Perform regular housekeeping and other duties as required.

**Salary**: Up to $70,000.00 per year
