**Fleet Systems Officer**
**35-hour week 19 day working fortnight**
**12 month temporary contract**
**Hourly rate starting from $32.94457 - $38.21571 (Depending on skills and experience)**

Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney
- Wingecarribee Shire Council is working to create and nurture a vibrant & diverse community in harmony with the region's urban, agricultural & natural environments.

**About the Role**:
The role of the Fleet Systems Officer is to:

- Provide support to Council’s Fleet area, in particular Council’s Mechanical Workshop staff in relation to;
scheduling Plant / Fleet services and repairs, monitoring ongoing utilisation and Procurement / Purchasing

requirements.
- Provide detailed support and initiative in the administration and data entry of Council’s Fleet Management

System.
- Provide support in gathering and preparing information for reporting on fleet policy compliance and efficiencies.

**Essential Criteria**
1. Certificate IV in Business Administration or other related discipline, or extensive experience (minimum of four years)
in a similar role.
2. Demonstrated high level experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and
PowerPoint.
3. Demonstrated experience in the use of Databases, with high level knowledge of system front end administrator/data
entry and basic knowledge of system back end components.
4. Demonstrated experience prioritising and scheduling tasks, particularly in a mechanical workshop environment.
5. Experience in a mechanical workshop environment (or equivalent), with knowledge of workshop spare parts.
7. Sound communication (both written and verbal) skills
8. Demonstrated experience in being able to implement and carry out instructions without further supervision.
9. Current NSW Drivers Licence (Class C)

**Desirable Criteria**
- Knowledge of Council’s Financial and Fleet Management Software - Finance One and Ausfleet.
- Qualifications or relevant experience in Fleet / Workshop Management.
- Local Government Experience
