Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney - Wingecarribee Shire Council is working to create and nurture a vibrant & diverse community in harmony with the region's urban, agricultural & natural environments.

**About the Role**:
This corporate strategy officer will work to assist and support the Coordinator, Strategy and Business Improvement management in overseeing and driving implementation of Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting framework.

This role will require strengths in business and reporting analysis, process improvement, stakeholder management, report formulation and analysis whilst being delivery focused. A keen eye for continuous quality improvements with a strong customer focus and an ability to view the organisation through a strategic lens. No two days will be the same as we work through supporting a medium scale business transformation.

The role functions as part of a small team and as such from time to time will be required to perform duties to assist to deliver broader team and corporate goals.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Degree qualification Project Management, Business Management, Public Administration, or related area.
2. Demonstrated understanding of the NSW Local Government Integrated Planning and Reporting framework.
3. Experience undertaking research and using data to develop strategic documents, submissions, and policies.
5. Experience and skills in planning and work review, process improvement and quality with a strong focus on strategic outcomes.
6. Ability to manage time and a range of tasks to meet organisational priorities and deadlines with limited supervision and deliver effective and accurate outcomes.
7. Understanding of a range of community engagement models and systems and demonstrated ability to operate effectively within these frameworks.
8. Ability to build and maintain relationships, credibility, and support across the organisation.
9. Excellence verbal and written communication skills targeted to a diverse range of stakeholders.

**Desirable Criteria**:
Although not essential It would be desirable to have the following:
Knowledge of Corporate systems.
Local Government Experience.
