Your property team will have the Property Supervisor reporting to you, and a larger team of experienced contractors collectively delivering services to maintain our buildings. You will work closely with the council works department to resolve maintenance projects.

**What You’ll Be Working On**

In this role you will oversee Council’s property portfolio and establish and maintain Council’s asset management plans and systems.

You will be given the opportunity to manage and supervise Building Services, including HVAC, Fire Services, Cleaning, Security, CCTV, Graffiti Contracts, and small refurbishment projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements and to ensure value for money in the delivery of services to the community.

Your day-to-day wok will involve coordinating maintenance programs for all Council building assets as well as providing supervision and leadership to the Property Supervisor.

You will be able to participate in Council’s escalation process for security, fire and building service events by either phone or attendance in person as required both within and outside core business hours.

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**

To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in construction, facilities management or related disciplines.

You will bring demonstrated minimum 3 years’ experience in the administration, supervision and ongoing performance assessment of service delivery contracts.

You will bring knowledge of NSW WHS legislation, WHS management systems and the ability to manage WHS issues associated with service contracts.

In addition to the above, you will also hold a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate, and a current White Card.
