This role located at Mosman Council Depot will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your skills in the area of Property and Works and be responsible for the implementation of property maintenance and construction programs.

What You'll Be Working On
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a passion for the built environment within local government.

Mosman Council is looking for a motivated and positive team player, who is willing to contribute to the current and future state of property council has in place under its strategic plan (Mosplan).

You will be willing to supervise and undertake audits of maintenance and construction contract work associated with Council's properties.


You will have the opportunity to assist Team Leader Property with effective administration and performance of existing and ongoing contracts and effectively meet work programs and workloads.


What You'll Bring to the Role


With Certificate IV Building and Construction Management or similar, you will be committed to understanding Work Health and Safety Practices in the workplace and their implementation on work sites controlled by contractors.


You will bring at least two to four years' experience in building contract supervision, knowledge of building codes and practices, and experience in undertaking condition audits and preparing maintenance improvement programs and specifications.


In addition to the above, you will also hold a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate and a C Class Driver Licence and a valid NSW Construction white Card.
