**About Great River City Light Rail**
- Western Sydney is one of the fastest growing regions in our country, with the population of Greater Parramatta alone set to climb by 50 per cent by 2041 and at Great River City Light Rail we want to create new communities, connect great places and help locals and visitors move around and explore what the region has to offer. The new Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, spanning 12 kilometres and utilising state-of-the-art vehicles that delivers comfortable, user-friendly and high-performance services. By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of light rail stops.

**The role**
- In this newly created role and in our brand-new facility at Camellia Depot this role plays an essential part in the Great River City Light Rail customer experience. Working closely with the Network Controllers you will provide clear and precise communication to our passengers via the passenger information systems and platform displays. You will also play an important role during special events and in the event of any service disruptions on the network by providing accurate and up to the minute information.

- Critical to your success will be your high-level communication skills, with the ability to make clear and accurate announcements in a timely manner. With the focus on our passengers, you will be passionate about customer service and have the empathy to manage sensitive customer feedback and any potential customer complaints. This role will see you work both independently and contribute as part of a broader team.
