We are seeking **APS5 Quality Assurance Officers** for a Federal Government department located in Greenway ACT. This contract is up to 12 months, which includes paid leave and 15.4% superannuation.

The Scheme is a high priority for Government and the department, with the ongoing commitment to the success of the Scheme and developing high performing staff who provide empathetic, survivor focused, trauma informed access to applicants of the Scheme.

**Position Description**:

- The Redress Officers are responsible for administration work and assuring the decisions and reviews made by the IDMs are correctly drafted, and reflect the legislation and policy of the National Redress Scheme.
- If a determination, or review conducted by an IDM is not reflective of the policy or legislation, these officers are required to prepare reasons why and escalate this issue.
- The duties include the following:

- conduct detailed research and analysis;
- keep accurate and comprehensive records (including report writing, case notes, and official records);
- communicate confidently through written and verbal communication and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate way;
- develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and external;
- demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with high workload in a high risk environment;
- ability to prioritise workloads/tasks and meet deadlines;
- strong attention to detail;
- administration work;
- demonstrates high emotional intelligence.
