**About the role**:
The purpose of the Team Leader Warehouse Support is to champion a team of specialists that develop and deliver a program of customer service, inventory control, quality, safety and SAP systems to help drive and deliver efficient warehouse, logistics and fleet functions.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Oversee end to end processes and the overall data flows across Powerlink’s systems in addition to data integration and data exchange topics to enable identification of cross departmental optimization opportunities.
- Lead projects relating to the continual improvement in both process, safety and reduction of costs of warehouse, and logistics functions.
- Oversee the safety processes and procedures used by the warehousing, and logistics teams.
- Provide support for inventory control activities and ISO9001 Quality accreditation for the Warehousing, Logistics and Fleet functions.
- Manage customer interactions with the Warehouse and Logistics team, ensuring needs are met by adequately planning out workflows across the team’s operational sites and functions.
- Drive consistent practices in system processes, quality, safety, freight co-ordination, customer service to ensure consistently high standards and positive customer outcomes.
- Lead contract management activities for consumable contracts for Powerlink.

You will be an experienced warehouse operator with a proactive approach to teamwork and experience in leading, training and coaching team members. You are a friendly, approachable and highly efficient Team Leader when handling enquiries and requests from a variety stakeholders.

What you will bring:

- Advanced Diploma in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain, coupled with significant operational experience.
- Extensive experience within warehouse operations or systems.
- Ability to understand technical issues and communicate the problems or solutions in a way that stakeholders without technical knowledge/expertise can interpret and understand.
- High level of computer literacy, with highly developed skills in analytics.
- Ability to conduct safety risk assessments, develop and review safety documentation.
- Driven to enhance innovation, through proven ability to re-engineer processes to deliver cost, quality and service improvements.
- Proven ability to manage contractors and undertake contract management functions such as tendering, evaluations, and performance management of suppliers/contractors.
