About the Role:


Having been in operation for over 50 years, our client is an expert in their field, providing printing, labels and flexible packaging options to a variety of commercial businesses.

An excellent opportunity is now available for a pro-active, self-motivated individual, who has demonstrated experience in a Warehouse Team Leader role, excellent problem-solving skills and possesses the ability to manage warehouse operations to ensure the company can meet production goals for their clients.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be overseeing two team members, managing stock and inventory of raw materials and finished goods and completing accurate records of warehouse activities.

This is a pivotal role in the business, which will suit someone who has experience managing a high volume inwards and outwards warehouse, a stable work history and above all, is passionate about their performance and the quality of their work.

Duties:

  • All inward goods to be correctly identified and received in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Raw material delivered to press is in accordance to scheduling
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities, inward and outward goods.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the condition and location of raw materials, finished goods, WIP and consumable items in the warehouse
  • Timely and accurate communication with all business units
  • Manage Stocktakes of Raw and Finished Goods bimonthly or as requested
  • Ensure adherence to the organisation's policies and procedures
  • Warehouse housekeeping is held to a respectable standard
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment & facilities and that all duties are carried out in a safe manner and ensuring the safety of staff

Skills and Experience:

  • Min 5 years experience in a warehouse team leader role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible proactive team player, who can make decisions to meet daily business requirements
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items correctly
  • A high level of honesty and integrity
  • Well developed work ethic
  • Proficient computer literacy and experience with a SAP system for inventory, pick, packing and despatch
  • High respect for workplace health & safety
  • Forklift licence, with 3 plus years recent experience
