**The Opportunity**:
Veolia is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the resources and ensure the fulfilment of municipal waste collections across our Sydney operations. With a background and experience in transport and business management, you will ensure the safe, efficient, cost-effective and profitable completion of jobs in accordance with relevant standards and targets.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all staff within your remit
- All operations, including safety and financial performance
- Incident management
- Developing and leading project management of site and service improvements
- Commercial reviews and forecasting
- Customer liaison and reporting

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Solid and relevant experience in managing teams ideally in transport and logistics or other industrial environments
- The following types of experience or exposure would also be very highly regarded:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, supply chain / logistics, or other relevant discipline
- A proven track record in operations.
