**The Opportunity**:
Municipal Manager - NSW

Veolia ANZ is looking for a State Municipal Manager to join our team based at Chullora 2190.

Reporting to the GM Municipal the purpose of the role is to manage all business activities in the NSW Municipal Business collections portfolio to safety and profitability targets.

You will ensure safe operational activities that are managed in a manner consistent with achieving budgeted financial targets and compliance procedures whilst ensuring that individual customer contracted KPIs are achieved.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Ensure safe behaviours in the Municipal workforce
- Effectively manage Municipal business unit managers and other direct reports
- Have a detailed understanding of the financial model for each Municipal contract
- Business development in collaboration with the GM Municipal, managing a pipeline of growth opportunities
- Key stakeholder engagement including employees, customers, unions and suppliers
- Industrial relations with a unionised workforce
- Maintain legal compliance including in relation to ‘Chain of Responsibility’ requirements
- Responsible for budgets, preparation, governance and reporting

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business (Management or Logistics) and/or demonstrable equivalent workplace experience
- Knowledge and experience in people management in order to maintain an engaged workforce
- Experience in finding and driving organisational efficiencies
- Proven experience in change management
- Demonstrated success in managing safety and environmental matters within regulatory and legislative requirements including the ability to lead in a strong safety focussed environment.
- Australian Drivers Licence
