We are currently looking for a friendly, professional and organised Administration Officer to join our team, on a full time basis (8am-4pm Monday-Friday). We offer a modern working space with a professional team environment.
As an Administration Officer in the Allied Health industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Allied Health Services. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, accepting referrals, and providing essential support to our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and management team.
Your role would include the following:
- Politely and promptly manage all reception and telephone enquiries
- Confirm, cancel and schedule client appointments for health professionals in PracSuite as required
- Coordinate Podiatry referral and rotational days
- Scheduling Podiatry residential and community appointments in PracSuite
- Coordinate incoming client referrals process
- Managing client information in a confidential and secure manner
- Draft and send letters for health professionals to GP, Specialists, Case Managers and Clients
- Following of Practice Policy & Procedures
- Providing adhoc support to the Operations Manager and Leadership team
- Incoming referral acceptance
What we are looking for in this role is someone who possesses:
- Strong working knowledge of PracSuite (Practice Management System)
- At least 12 months experience working in a Healthcare/Customer Service setting is preferred but not essential
- At least 2 years experience working in an administration role is preferred
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and work as a team.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet set standards.
- Dependable and reliable in character and possess a strong work ethic.
**Salary**: $56,204.85 - $68,864.46 per year
