**About the role**:
Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Affairs, this role is responsible for leading the multi-purpose communications that align strategies that tell the story of our distribution networks with marketing that shapes our customers’ direct experience with our brands.

**What you’ll deliver**:
- Lead the development of the brands for three electricity networks (CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy) and champion their faithful promotion externally while bringing them to life internally by inspiring an aligned culture
- Manage a collaborative team that delivers integrated programs of work and achieves targeted outcomes in relation to a range of corporate and stakeholder objectives
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to position our brands and services in a way that both builds trust amongst consumers and enables our network operations
- Advise internal project teams on the design and delivery of consumer marketing strategies to achieve targeted recruitment and outcomes while offering a positive consumer experience
- Create, develop and execute internal communication strategies, campaigns and content to drive the development of our internal culture in support of our brand promises
- Manage the digital communication strategy and user experience on owned-channels (website and social media) as key vehicles for our story to reach and influence mass audiences
- Design and manage external communications and public relations opportunities in support of corporate and consumer objectives.
**To succeed in this role, you’ll have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications
- Substantial experience designing, project managing and implementing end-to-end multi-channel campaigns for maximum impact
- Experience in leading both marketing and communication or public relations functions and teams within either corporate or consulting organisations
- Excellent understanding of contemporary brand, marketing and advertising strategies supporting both corporate positioning and product/service outcomes
- Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships internally and externally
- High standard of communication skills (copywriting, creative and design management, photography and audio-visual direction) as this is a hands-on role
- Experience in the energy or regulated utilities sector and strong understanding of the operating context
- Direct experience in influencing projects that enhance and improve customer experience.
