**About the Commission**

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (the Commission) is an independent statutory body established to promote integrity within South Australian public administration. The Commission investigates reports of corruption within public administration and actively prevents corruption by undertaking evaluations of the practices, policies and procedures of public agencies. The Commission also delivers education programs which seek to guide the conduct of public officers in the South Australian public sector.

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a new Manager Strategic Intelligence at the Commission. Reporting to the Director Prevention and Communications, the Manager Strategic Intelligence will work with the Commission’s Management Team to develop high quality intelligence products aimed at assisting the Commission in achieving its statutory functions.

The incumbent will lead a small team responsible for the development and maintenance of systems, policies and procedures and support the effective collection, processing and analysis of data.

The Manager Strategic Intelligence will play a key role in assisting the Commission’s strategic decision-making, by proactively delivering strategic intelligence projects and activities analysing public sector corruption issues and risks, in addition to providing intelligence-driven insights into areas and agencies with heightened corruption risks.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in the role you must possess:

- Formal qualifications in intelligence or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyse information, forecast trends, identify issues, and use astute and sound judgement.
- Highly developed communication skills (verbal and written) including preparing and presenting strategies, plans, reports and briefs.
- Sound understanding of information management processes and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, engage employees and manage performance in order to deliver strategic objectives.
- High level interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and engage key internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, organise workload, determine priorities, and use judgement and initiative to manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to use tact and discretion in dealing with confidential information.
