Team Assistant

**What’s the role?**
- Casual position to work 3-4 days per week in the office
- Organise and maintain diaries, coordinating internal/external meetings to ensure the best use of time and anticipating the next steps.
- Support 2 senior executives to ensure optimal workflow, efficiency, and time management.
- Finance support and cost budget tracking
- Organise travel/accommodation for trips to ensure trips run smoothly and cost-efficiently and to budget. I.e Flights, Hotels, Cars.
- Draft correspondence on behalf of the senior executives where appropriate.
- Preparing meeting agendas, taking notes and circulating documents to ensure meetings run smoothly.
- Work closely with Business Projects Manager and other team assistants on The Australian and assist with financial forecasting and contributor budgets
- Office Administration and organisation
- Process expense claims and credit card statements as required
- Technology Troubleshooting
- Responding to event requests and event hosting invitations
**Who are you?**
- Naturally curious and proactive with a positive can-do attitude, you will exhibit a genuine passion for success and always strive to deliver the best that you can.
- Flexible in your approach to work and welcoming of autonomy and responsibility.
- You will have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- You must be a ‘people person’ and have strong communication skills at all levels. A natural ability to network and forge strong working relationships across the business and externally.
- Able to work to tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and thrive working in a busy and collaborative work environment.
- An individual willing to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working as a Team Assistant or Coordinator role is preferred but not essential.
- Has great administration and computer skills, particularly a great working knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office, and Concur will be an advantage.
