**Your new role**

As Business Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
Problem-Solving:

- Lead problem-solving sessions as an improvement practitioner, collaborating closely with bespoke teams to address process improvement requirements.
- Utilise structured problem-solving techniques to define problems, reach agreement with sponsors, scope improvement initiatives and obtain sign off
- Identify and quantify benefits for improvement initiatives (before vs. after).
- Define and source relevant data for ongoing measurement and progress reporting.
- Independently facilitate improvement workshops.
- Provide status updates and initiative completion reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify inefficient or ineffective processes across the business and support others in doing the same.

Imparting Business Improvement Knowledge:

- Collaborate closely with improvement initiative participants to impart business improvement skills through practical problem-solving.

Process Focus:

- Demonstrate the ability to undertake an end-to-end discovery process.
- Engage in process workshopping and analysis with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Articulate the current state situation and collaboratively identify opportunities for designing an improved future state.
- Managing project governance, including creating, maintaining, updating, and communicating project plans.
- Drive cross-functional project teams and track each project through to completion.
- Maintain project status reports and proactively highlight any issues and risks that may impact project success.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate experience in the following:

- Minimum 5 years experience in business process mapping using BPMN.
- Proficiency with ARIS/Signavio enterprise architecture platforms.
- Establishing a governance process (council structure, policies, procedures, guidelines).
- Conducting business process training and facilitating current state workshops.
- Transforming existing process maps to BPMN standard.
- Creating a BPM operating model and setting up a process management office.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
