**The Opportunity**
TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Commercial Cookery to join our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis. This position will be based at Ultimo.
Be prepared to drive Commercial Cookery in the Sydney Region with new and innovative techniques and delivery.

You want to work as a part of a collaborative and dynamic teaching team and are committed to building the skills of students.
The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
- Hold recognised - Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery - SIT30821 or SIT40521
- Hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in Commercial Cookery relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
**Highly Regarded**:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the Vocational education sector as a commercial cookery teacher
- Understanding of current industry trends
- Demonstrated experience as a supervisor
- Have a demonstrated commitment to or previous experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment
