**Position Statement**

The Operations Manager has overview responsibility for the Creative Respite and Community Services program and Support Coordination services. This position is responsible for operational management and provision of high-quality service delivery. The Operations Manager is responsible for the delivery and implementation of Creative Devotional Counselling Services Strategic, Operational and Continuous Improvement plans. The Operations Manager provides leadership and advice to managers/coordinators and leadership personnel and is accountable to the Director/CEO.

**Position Responsibilities**

The Operations Manager will work with the management team to meet responsibilities which include:

- Providing leadership to management staff and creating a work environment that supports the delivery of quality services.
- Ensuring that Creative Devotional Counselling adheres to and operates according to policies and procedures, and in compliance with its funding contracts, legislative requirements, any applicable professional regulations and requirements.
- In consultation with the Director/CEO develops, implements and supports the achievements and outcomes established in the Strategic Plan.
- Providing reports, data, information and advice to the Director to assist them in making sound, evidence-based decisions.
- Developing a risk management plan for the service for the Director’s endorsement, implementing the plan and ensuring that identified risks are monitored and managed.
- Working with Creative Devotional Counselling’s independent accountant to prepare the Annual Budget for the consideration of the Director.
- Oversee HR responsibilities in consultation with external HR management services as required.
- Ensuring that applicable Service Standards are met and that all services provided are of good quality and meet statutory and legislative requirements.
- The Operations Manager will need to maintain up to date knowledge on statutory and legislative changes that impact the service and service delivery. Changes to Legislation and regulatory compliance will be monitored by the Operations Manager via websites, membership of peak organisations, familiarisation of legislation, internal audits, legislation advice and governing body’s service standards. Changes will be implemented and passed on to all relevant parties as required.
- The Operations Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities to develop collaborative partnerships within the community as well as private and not for profit sectors which will benefit Creative Devotional Counselling and its service participants.
- Participating in regular supervision with the Director.
- Provide feedback and information to the Director at regular meetings.
- Promote the program to other services and develop relationships in the community to promote and grow services in Creative Devotional Counselling Services.
- Manage advertising and promotional activities for the service.
- Review and make changes to Policies and Procedures as required for the purpose of continuous improvement.
- Monitor financial delegations, spending and budgets for CRCS.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
