The
**purpose of this role** is to effect a monthly program of internal compliance audits across Gallagher’s Australian broking business. Responsibilities will include:

- Execution of a monthly program of assurance reviews which support our legislative and regulatory obligations.
- Co-ordination of monthly activities with a dedicated support team located in the Gallagher Service Centre.
- Management of assurance review data through the Protecht Risk Management System.
- Identifying and analysing risks identified through conduct of the monthly assurance program - including root cause analysis and the design and implementation of remediation programs.
- Production of reports detailing program activities and results.
- Maintaining program documentation and reference materials.
- Effectively implementing change as and when required to ensure that the assurance program remains current and fit for purpose.

- Proven experience in operational compliance in the financial services industry, advantageous.
- Reporting and presentation capability.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships across the business with good influencing skills.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and report on work areas and ability to escalate as appropriate.
- Experience working within a fast paced corporate environment with excellent organisational skills.
