**The Role**

As an Experienced Maintenance Employee in the Sealed Roads team, you will use your high level of skills and knowledge to perform a range of asset and infrastructure maintenance and Civil Construction activities throughout the Latrobe City municipality.

Working hours will be from 7:00AM - 4:00PM with 9 day fortnight. Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Council’s depot at Driffield Rd, Morwell.

**About You**

For this role we are seeking an experienced road maintenance employee with drive to produce work of the highest quality. You will have demonstrated skills and experience across the range of plant and equipment typically used in the maintenance of roads, drainage and vegetation.

Your communication will be friendly and professional to be able to communicate with the public, clients and other employees, displaying practical examples of living Latrobe City Council’s values

**You will have**:

- Current Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence
- Current Traffic Control and Worksite Management certificate.
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Current First Aid (preferred).
- Competency operating plant and vehicles used in road maintenance including but not limited to Tractor and slasher/reach mower, motor grader, skid steer loader, excavator, compaction equipment and flocon
- Practical experience undertaking road and drainage maintenance and civil construction works.
- Possess a basic level of digital literacy with an advanced level of digital literacy highly desirable.
- Experience working with a Municipal Council or similar authority is desirable

All successful applicants are required to undergo a Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.
