**We are seeking someone who is passionate about customer service and presentation to join our engagement & customer focus team**

**About this Role**

As the Corporate Maintenance Officer, you will:

- Maintain daily presentation and cleanliness of the Corporate Headquarters to a high standard.
- Preparation of meeting rooms at Corporate Headquarters for Council Meetings, Councillor Briefings and Official Council Functions.
- Assist Corporate Facilities Officer with preparation and management of the lock systems, air condition requirements, security issues at our Corporate Headquarters, Service Centres and Libraries.
- Routine cleaning, assisting with deliveries, flag adjustments in line with flag protocols and general yard duties at required locations.
- Meeting with contractors across a range of council buildings

**About You**

For this position, we are seeking someone who is able to effectively manage their time and prioritise tasks to meet the deadlines and needs of the organisation. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills to be able to collaborate with both internal staff members and external stakeholders such as visitors & contractors.

You will also have:

- Competent operation of powered and non-powered tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office software and systems that support task management, with the ability to learn new systems.
- An understanding of Workplace Occupational Health and Safety requirements, practices and procedures relevant to the works undertaken
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- A current driver’s licence is essential.

All successful applicants will need to successfully obtain a Police Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.
