To support our continued organisational growth, we are currently seeking a **Manager Specialist Support** to join our innovative, passionate team.
The Manager Specialist Support is responsible for determining, developing, and implementing frameworks, strategies, programs and work standards including operational policies and processes that deliver a range of Specialist Support services such as attendant care, specialist accommodation and home modifications and assistive technology (AT).
This role will oversee and manage a range of staff and probity processes, ensuring measures are in place in the review, assessment and approval stages of home modifications and AT, attendant care and accommodation proposals that balance the needs of LSS Participants with scheme viability, guidelines, and management. This role will also provide a high-quality advisory service to a range of internal and external stakeholders including the LSA Services Directorate, service providers and LSS participants to identify and mitigate risks and ensure the delivery of seamless specialist support services.
The Manager Specialist Support is also responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Home Modifications & AT, Attendant Care and Accommodation Specialists.
**About You**
We work in a fast-paced environment, and we are on the lookout for a forward-thinking professional with:
- Significant experience in providing advisory services on, and determining, planning, developing, and managing the implementation of allied health frameworks, strategies, programs, policies, processes, system and related reports in a health, disability or personal injury related industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the issues related to the national disability and health sector including the needs of individuals with a disability and/or culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and continuous improvement methodologies for person-centred health and disability care service delivery.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience**
- AHP classification steam:
- A relevant degree, or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an allied health professional, such as physiotherapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, social worker, developmental educator etc.
- Full registration, if the profession is registrable, with the Allied Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Where not registerable, eligibility for full membership with the relevant allied health professional association.

**Position Term**
The position being offered is for an initial 6-month period with the possibility of extension.
**Remuneration**
AHP4 ($112,625 - $122,610
ASO8 ($119,317 - $123,882)
**Special Conditions**
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Travel to health and community facilities, participants’ homes, intrastate and interstate may be required.
