**Our client **is a purpose led organisation committed to providing high quality support to Aged Care clients and individuals living with disability and their families through a range of services throughout Western Suburbs of Sydney. The organisation delivers a range of targeted and flexible individualised support initiatives including Day programs, Community and Accommodation support services.

An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time permanent
**Quality and Compliance Officer** to join the team. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you lead the risk, quality and compliance framework and provide forward-thinking innovative support across the organisation.

The primary objectives of this position are to:
**Build**
- You will be the internal owner of their quality and risk framework.
- You will drive and implement effective frameworks designed to safeguard their clients in the context of relevant standards, legislation and business models.
- Design processes to create and update policies and deliver targeted training to meet compliance requirements.

**Implementation and Compliance**
- Assist and support the preparation of documents for site audits and in maintaining NDIS accreditation.
- Maintain expert knowledge of matters relating to the National Quality and Safeguarding policy and regulation that impact disability service providers and aged care providers.
- Collect, analyse, and report on a range of quality and compliance matters as required by registered disability and aged care service providers

**Collaborative**
- Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders s to support compliance for all programs and establish best practices.
- Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices.
- Collaborate with care communities through a comprehensive and holistic approach to support and ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant care is delivered to NDIS participants.
- AHPRA registered and relevant qualifications.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of the disability sector, the NDIS, and NDIA requirements of service providers.
- Ability to interpret Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements pertaining to Disability and Aged Care and proven ability to interpret guidelines and implement guidelines.
- Lived experience of disability desirable.
- Full working rights and unrestricted NSW Driver’s licence
- WWCC, NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check
