**Your role**

We have a great opportunity for an Associate with 2-5 years experience to join our highly regarded national Health Industry Group in Brisbane specialising in health regulatory, privacy and advisory work. Working closely with Partner Sonja Read, and a national team, you will have exposure to a variety of work including:

- Undertaking privacy impact assessments on complex projects;
- Due diligence for health sector transactions;
- Drafting of agreements and advice relating to medical research and clinical trials; and
- General health law as it relates to the daily operations of health providers and medical practitioners e.g. issues of consent, substitute decision-makers.

Our clients are predominately within the private and government health and research sectors throughout Australia and overseas.

**More about you**
- Strong technical skills in legal research, statutory interpretation (including privacy laws), and contract drafting;
- The ability to deliver clear, quality, commercial and pragmatic advice under pressure;
- A strong interest in working for clients in the health sector, even if this has not been the regulated sector that you have worked in to date;
- A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts;
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment;
- An interest in and willingness to contribute to business development initiatives including presentations, client training and publications;
