- Market- Australia Western Australia Perth- Permanent- Oil & Gas- Our client, an Oil & Gas service company who have developed numerous methods and technologies for controlling corrosion on virtually any type of offshore asset, from platforms and pipelines to FPSOs are currently recruiting QHSE Coordinator in a permanent staffed capacity who will provide a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance within our project management, engineering, and manufacturing operations.
- This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing QHSE programs and initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements within our existing ISO 9001 framework.**Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Collaborate with teams to establish and maintain quality control standards.
- Monitor and evaluate product quality through inspections and audits.
- Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and non-conformities.
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems and industry standards.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
- Promote a safe working environment and provide training to employees.
- Investigate and report accidents or incidents, and implement preventive measures.
- **Environmental Compliance**:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Develop and oversee environmental management programs.
- Implement initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
- Track and report on environmental performance metrics.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records related to QHSE activities, in accordance to our ISO 9001 Quality Manual.
- Generate reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare for and participate in audits, inspections, and certifications.
- **Training and Awareness**:

- Conduct QHSE training sessions for employees.
- Foster a QHSE culture within the organization through awareness campaigns.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, and communicate their impact.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety).
- 5+ years’ experience working within an ISO9001 certified company.
- Certified ISO9001 Internal Auditor
- **Certificate IV** in Work Health and Safety (WHS) is a must.
- Certification in QHSE (e.g., ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of relevant local and international QHSE regulations.
