**Role Summary**:
The External Affairs Specialist is a newly created opportunity in our Media and External Affairs Team based at our Perth Forrest Centre site.

The External Affairs Specialist coordinates and publishes engaging content, via multiple channels, to drive engagement and positive corporate reputation. This includes corporate publications, industry presentations, speech writing and social media.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Proactively lead the delivery of the annual report, modern slavery statement and other external corporate publications.
- Provide communications support to executive leadership team, including CEO and Board through the delivery of speeches and external presentations.
- Develop and execute communication plans to support strategic projects and contentious issues, when required.
- Create engaging content for external channels.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Demonstrated experience in a corporate communication, external affairs or publishing for a large organisation.
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment to deadline.
- Practical understanding of Government processes, expectations and competing demands.
- Experience leading the production of external publications for a large organisation.
- Minimum eight years’ experience working in communications, or related discipline.
