AWI Steel Pty Ltd is a leading structural steel fabricator and installer, located in Silverwater. We work with Tier 1 contractors to create structural steel work for various sites around the Sydney Metro area.

We now have a vacancy and are looking for a new Team member to assist our safety team. The role focuses on providing office based support to the site team and processing site related documents.

If you are a self-starter and keen to join and support a high performing team in construction, then this may be the opportunity for you

**Role Description and Requirements**

This is a varied role where you will be a part of a professional and supportive team. Work with subcontractors or tradesmen is desirable, however _**previous construction experienced is not required for this role**_. There is an opportunity to learn and expand with mentoring and in role training.

You will be involved in a range of tasks including:

- Providing administrative support for the site team
- Processing site and project related documents
- Updating and issuing documents to all relevant staff
- Organising site and subcontractor inductions
- Proofreading documents before submitting to clients
- Work with onsite staff to ensure correct timesheets and project requirements

**About You**

You have initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You are not afraid to ask for help

You can take responsibility for a task and see it through and work well as an integral part of a small team.

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Strong written and communication skills with proof-reading abilities
- High level of computer competency and advanced formatting and desktop publishing skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Results focused with the ability to logically problem-solve
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to relate well with client and colleagues alike.
