OGIP is a high functioning group of people who are responsible for ensuring DCJ’s compliance with the _Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009_ (GIPA Act), the _Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act_ _1998_ (PPIP Act), as well as complying with subpoenas and statutory orders relating to the provision of information.

We offer very flexible work practices in a very supportive environment. On the job training will be provided.

**What you’ll do**

You will also:

- Respond to inquiries and provide expert advice on information release and privacy legislation, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Create and manage files and documents for efficient retrieval, supporting the production of key management reports.
- Represent the Department in internal reviews and provide training on legislative obligations.

**What we’re looking for**

Roles will require the following checks/ clearances:

- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
- Fingerprint checks are required to be conducted at a Police Station and obtained prior to commencing in the role.
