We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Malt technical team as Barley and Malt Quality Coordinator. Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager, you will be a key member of the technical solutions team and work closely with the other teams, understanding customer needs of raw materials to target the best quality barley from origins and suppliers. The role will require you to work with the plant teams to ensure barley contract management is aligned with quality requirements while also being responsible for management and maintenance of technical Bill of Materials in the ERP system. The role will provide effective quality support for customers of APAC Malt business.

**Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure barley contract drawdown is aligned to the quality requirements;
- Manage Material and Specification Master Data in SAP and MaPPS systems;
- Monitoring and reporting crop activity throughout the year to provide information, pre and post
- harvest;
- Driving the new season micro malting process with the Technical Supervisor;
- Coordinating new malting barley customer trials;
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM’s) in SAP and ensure processes and procedures support BOM accuracy through continuous improvement initiatives;
- Interface with customers, coordinate and handle complaints, in conjunction with the FSQR Specialist;
- Developing training materials for specific technical expertise;
- Contribute towards providing timely technical inputs to key stakeholders such as customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders in the region or globally;

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in science or related discipline
- Excellent planning and organisation skills;
- High customer service orientation; strong problem solving skills;
- Well
- developed communication and analytical skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Advanced Level MS Office Applications;
**Desirables**
- Acquired knowledge of the malting and brewing or barley industry;
- Ability to work with large databases and SAP;
- Ability to connect with people at various levels in the organisation;
- Ability to integrate and operate in a multi-cultural and diverse environment, inclusive mindset;
- High adaptability and capacity for change;
