Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Our services and programs support children who are dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a loved one. We provide kids and their families with fun experiences, camps, and retreats in addition to trusted information, coping tools and a supportive community, in hospital, in school or online.

**About the Role**

The Community Fundraising Coordinator is part of our Revenue team, responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a range of fundraising events and community and corporate activations. You will be integral to ensuring maximised fundraising outcomes and best practice event delivery. You will enjoy great variety in your daily tasks, coordinating events and fundraising activities, where you will utilize your skills in stakeholder and engagement management, and overseeing some office management tasks. This is a fast paced, dynamic and broad role, focused primarily on activity in Victoria and Tasmania and supporting colleagues in other states, when needed.

**Qualifications and Training**
- Qualifications and / or experience in event management, communications, marketing or similar.
- Training and / or experience using peer-to-peer fundraising platforms (_Funraisin _preferred) and EDM tools.
- Completion of Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) fundraising / compliance related courses, or similar, will be highly regarded.

**Experience and Knowledge**
- 1-2 years’ experience in events or community fundraising coordination/delivery.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (community to high end corporate).
- Experience in social media and developing / executing communication plans.

Highly regarded:

- Prior involvement in supporter journey planning, fundraising campaigns, and collateral creation.
- Experience gained within a not-for-profit organisation.
- Experience in supporting the running of an office.

**Other requirements for this role**:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to be adaptable, able to prioritise, meet tight deadlines and successfully coordinate multiple and varied tasks.
- The ability and willingness to use your initiative and anticipate stakeholder needs
- An understanding and appreciation of risk management and safety, including willingness to adhere to Camp Quality’s WHS policies and procedures.
- Current driver’s license
- Some out-of-hours work may be required.
- Some inter / intra state travel may be required.
- Current Working with Children Check.
