Melbourne, Australia Department of Veterans' Affairs Full time

Salary Range: $85,503 - $89,106 + Attractive Superannuation

The APS5 Recognition Program Officer will support the VRP section by overseeing VRP BAU activities, including weekly distribution of Covenant packs; providing accurate quality record keeping; financial tracking and reporting; processing of provider invoices in DOLARS; and contract performance analysis. They will be responsible for handling enquiries about the program; communicating with internal and external stakeholders; and identifying, monitoring and escalating emerging program issues. They will monitor and manage the team’s group mailboxes, ensuring professional and timely responses.

**Duties**
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including veterans, about the delivery of the Covenant.
- Process invoices and assist with the administration of contracts with key external Covenant partners.
- Assist in the preparation of written correspondence, reports, presentations, procedural and policy documents, including Ministerial correspondence, responses to veteran enquiries and requests for information.
- Manage the VETSCARD inbox and provide responses (written and verbal) to veterans and key veteran community stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support for the MIGS contract, including management of the contract management log, liaising between the contractor and DVA staff to resolve service delivery issues, and ongoing reporting requirements.
- Perform secretariat duties for meetings with key external partners.
- Maintain accurate records for general correspondence, briefings, reports and contract documentation.
- Assist with general support duties for the VRP Section.
- Experience with DVA systems including Process Direct, R&CISH, CFMS, VIEW, aDVAnce, PDMS, CM9 and DOLARS is highly desirable but not essential for the role.
