**About The Role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Research Communications and Events Coordinator to help us achieve our mission of improving access and success for marginalised and disadvantaged individuals in higher education.

As the Research Communications and Events Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager in managing the media, communications, and events associated with the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that research findings are effectively communicated to stakeholders, while also coordinating and executing high-profile events and public relations activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of multimedia communications materials that will be used to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

As part of your role, you will work with your line manager to plan, develop, and execute communication strategies for the Centre. This involves generating interest in the Centre's research outcomes through various campaigns, managing media acquisition and retention campaigns, evaluating media performance, and presenting findings to key stakeholders. You will also provide support to the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager and Curtin's Marketing and Corporate teams.
