Product Growth Manager

Are you passionate about working in a dynamic environment where creativity meets strategic thinking? We are seeking an innovative and strategic Product Growth Manager for a 12-month contract position to help drive business growth and continue to build out our product.

At Stockspot, we are on a mission to help people invest in a way that is easy, safe & consistent so that they feel confident to achieve their financial dreams. We do this by providing low cost automated financial advice through a digital product that is continuously rated by our clients as easy and simple to use.

Stockspot currently manages over $750 million dollars on behalf of our 13,000+ clients. We are able to successfully manage this with a small team, given technology does a lot of the heavy lifting. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join our team to continue to drive the growth of our business

Role purpose

As our Product Growth Manager, you will work closely with the CEO/Founder of the business, CTO and all members of our talented team to drive product innovation. Like a traditional product manager, you will be concerned with solving customer problems but prioritising initiatives that achieve our strategic business priorities.This is an opportunity to make your mark on a high-growth B2C fintech product.

The essential aspects of this role are:

- As an ambassador for our thousands of customers utilising your deep understanding of them, you will construct solid business cases for an innovative product strategy.
- Execute through the product lifecycle to deliver the product strategy in collaboration with the team around you.
- Be responsible for the roadmap across all product channels, this includes our website, blog as well as our iOS and Android apps.
- Engage with our customers, key stakeholders and third party suppliers, building relationships.
- Work closely with all members of our team in particular work closely with:

- Our engineering team to manage our current roadmap as well as introduce new technologies into our technical architecture and ongoing refinement of product;
- Marketing and UX/UI Design to ensure consistent and cohesive design implementation and achieve our sales and marketing objectives.
- Investment Advice and client care to ensure we are exceeding our customers needs and expectations as well as continuing to engage with new customers in the product journey.
- Compliance & operations, client care and marketing and finally operations are the heart of our investment business to continually improve accuracy, speed and efficiency of our product.
- Deliver value using lean methods - we believe in testing and validating ideas quickly.
- Deep understanding and experience working in a highly regulated industry with appreciation of governance and compliance within financial services.

About You
- You are strategic, have an entrepreneurial mindset and are passionate about innovation
- You love being the glue of an organisation, are motivated, upbeat, customer and team centric
- You are an excellent communicator that is empathetic, considered and articulate. You love your product management craft, you
- the latest blogs, newsletters, best practice approaches and leaders in the industry domestically and globally.
- You love testing and learning and have a minimum of 10 years experience in software product management, ideally including some experience in a B2C product management role.
- You have the ability to clearly articulate customer problems, break them down, and then iterate quickly to deliver value & learnings.
- A strong track record building rapport with a range of stakeholders to achieve business outcomes in the areas that matter.
- You have excellent project management skills as well as knowing how to manage a never-ending list of customer, team, and founder requests and can ensure the right opportunities are focused on.
- You have used both quantitative and qualitative research to inform the product direction and measure success.
- Excellent knowledge in financial services
