About the role
- Make an impact in a diverse people & culture role

It is the peak body for Victoria’s 50 Community Legal Centres (CLCs), who are at the forefront of helping those facing economic, cultural or social disadvantage and whose life circumstances are severely affected by legal challenges. You will work across all elements of the people and culture function, including delivering organisational culture initiatives and people management activities, drafting, implementing, and reviewing policies to meet the Federation’s compliance and governance obligations, supporting organisational and individual wellbeing, and implementing effective workforce planning and recruitment processes.

About YOU
- Experience in a similar role being both strategic and operational in supporting people and culture work.
- Sound experience in the delivery of organisational culture and development initiatives.
- Ability to take a leading role in maintaining a positive, strong workplace culture.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including a calm, people centric and ethical approach and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people effectively and professionally.
- Strong written communication including ability to synthesise information and draft documentation to a high standard.
- An ability to think strategically while considering practical solutions and perspectives.
- Flexible, adaptive, and able to work effectively in a small team.
- Strong commitment to social justice, and values alignment with the Federation.
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Business, or Psychology are ideal, or equivalent relevant experience.
- The Federation is committed to providing a working environment that is friendly, collaborative and positive. It offers generous salary packaging; flexible work arrangements to support employees with work-life balance; 5 weeks annual leave; Christmas and New Year shut-down leave; access to an Employee Assistance Program and learning and development opportunities. _

if you are a strategic, motivated and purpose driven People & Culture professional wanting to reach new milestones of excellence through championing collaboration, inclusion and integrity.

Gembridge is proud to partner with The Federation.
